This year, I read 12 books.

This year, I read 11 books and discovered four new authors.

This year, I read 25 books and discovered 16 new authors.

2021 was fairly average in terms of reading. The books were decent, and I read an acceptable number of them. Nothing particularly special.

I made an effort to discover as many new authors as possible and was pleased with almost all of them. Self-isolation led me to focus primarily on digital books, so I've continued using my e-reader. I can hardly remember if I even visited our local bookstore once!

I finally completed nearly all of Yukio Mishima's works, which I had long wanted to read. Additionally, back in 2019, I set a rule to discover at least one or two new authors each month, and I've already found some excellent ones for my collection!

This year, I read 33 books and discovered 17 new authors.

Throughout the year, I did a lot of rereading. I took advantage of reading books in English and discovered several new authors and out-of-print works by some of my favorite writers from the past, thanks to my e-reader!
